Greetings! I’m Holly, the Cleveland writer behind “Rust Belt Runner,” a blog documenting my journey with running, yoga and healthy living. As part of the Ohio Blogging Association November Blog Swap, today I am taking a stab at poetry.

While I have been a fan of the written word ever since I took my first English class in elementary school, poetry has never been my forte. I even majored in journalism and have spent my professional career writing for newspapers, websites, companies and now also my blog — but during that time I have never written a poem. Showcasing my love for running, I present you with a poem about my favorite sport.
