It’s spooky season, and if you’ve been to any of my recent readings, you’ll know that I recently wrote this humorous new Halloween limerick! Enjoy!

Kris Kringle’s Year Off

Season’s greetings!

I actually wrote this Christmas comedy poem off-season, but as you’ll soon realize, that’s not entirely inappropriate. Enjoy!

[The full text is below, but I’ve decided to debut this piece in video format:]

Kris Kringle's Year Off

SPOILER ALERT! Following up on my Pi Day Post & Poem

SPOILER ALERT! Do NOT read this post unless you’ve read the one preceding it AND failed or decided not to decipher the deeper connection between the poem and the number π!

Alright, you’ve been warned. Here’s the hidden meaning (scroll down):

The number of letters in each word of the 32-word poem correspond to the first 32 digits of π:

π (Happy Belated Pi Day!)

Sorry I’m about 2 weeks late with this, but I was busy on the 14th celebrating Pi Day with one of my best friends! As part of our celebration, I wrote the following poem. Can you detect the deeper level on which this poem is connected to Pi Day? (Hint: I had to stop when I hit zero.)

Hometown Halloween (Happy Belated Halloween!)

I’m sorry I’m late at sharing this poem, but, as many of my fellow writers can likely understand, I just couldn’t accept it as being finished until it stimulated just the right feelings in myself and in the members of a small sample audience. I hope that you’ll enjoy the poem thoroughly enough to think of it as my Halloween “treat” to you (I’m giving myself until the 1st of next April to come up with some sort of “trick” 😉 ).
